WHAT: CATO Networks, our trusted security vendor, has added an additional layer of security to better protect our networks.
WHEN: Wednesday, 2/14/2024
WHY: This additional layer of security is designed to prevent the loss of sensitive patient data on individual devices like desktop computers and laptops. The new feature tracks and stops malicious network traffic, which reduces the risk of data breaches to help us maintain a secure network and prevent downtime.
IMPACT: No action needed. A new application will be installed on all computers and laptops with no noticeable impact to your workflow.
