Distribution List Changes - 10/4/2023
We have updated the email distribution lists (DL) to improve overall accuracy by automating the lists from information received from Dayforce. We want to use our HRIS as the single source of truth to keep the data up to date. Along with the DLs, this automation will improve the accuracy of job titles, practice locations, and other major changes that are made in Dayforce.
Attached are the base lists that were created to help Lightwave communications. Each list is set up by job title, by region, or by department. For example, all Dentists and then all dentists by region, all Practice Managers and then all Practice Managers by region. The DLs listed in red are restricted and will require a support desk ticket to request permission for access to send an email to those DL. This is due to the large number of email addresses each DL contains.

Distribution List - A distribution list is an email address that is used to message a group of recipients. Rather than using the cc function and manually adding every address each time you send a message, distribution lists allow you to use a single address when reaching out.
