There are no issues with reducing your retention policy on your appliance after a seed drive was used to speed up the creation of replication to the cloud vault as long as the seed was ingested on the vault and the BDP/Vault are now in sync. Â X360-Recover uses a chain free backup method so you can delete any snapshot with out orphaning the older snaps. Â Something you can not do on other backup solutions.
