Add Asset to Inventory - AP or Switch
1. Click "Plus" button at the top.

2. Select "Asset"

3. Click "Display Name" and enter either AP followed by the next number, or Srw1 sequentially depending on if it's a switch or access point.

4. Click "Select workspace" and select "IT Services"

5. Next select "Asset Type" Access point for wireless devices and Switch is straight forward.

6. Confirm "Permanent" is the Usage Type

7. Scroll down to "Hardware Properties" Enter product Wireless search for "Aruba and all products should be shown. If a product is not in the list, place a ticket to have it added.

8. Next locate Asset State .. this is the key to it working. Anything we have on hold or set aside to be used later needs to be classified as "In Stock" Please select "In Stock"

9. Enter the serial number of the device

10. Next specify where the device will be stored. If its stored at one of our offices please populate the location section. If you are traveling with or have it at your home office, select Manage by Group - IT. Than select your name from the next field below.

11. Finally scroll back up and verify your selections. Once verified hit "Save"
