Add a Shared Mailbox to the Installed Outlook App
If IT has given you access to the mailbox, wait 10 minutes after access has been given, close and reopen Outlook. The shared mailbox will appear on the left side of Outlook under your inbox folders.

Add a Shared Mailbox to Outlook Web
If you use Outlook web, PWA or OWA you will need to add the shared mailbox manually.
Log into your email on outlook.office.com or launch your installed PWA/OWA app.
In the left pane right click on your email address and Select “Add shared folder or mailbox”

Enter the name of the mailbox you have been granted access to. You should only have to put a few letters in it for it to search and locate the mailbox.

Once selected it Add to add it to your mailbox.

The mailbox is added. On the left pane scroll to the end of your inbox and your shared mailbox will be listed.
